The Chillicothe Paints top the Richmond RiverRats

An impressive effort by T J Diffenderfer spurred the Chillicothe Paints (11-5) to a 20-6 win over the Richmond RiverRats (6-11) on Sunday at McBride Stadium.

J Diffenderfer hit two home runs for the Chillicothe Paints. J Diffenderfer went 3-6 in the game with three RBIs and three runs scored. J Diffenderfer homered in the third and seventh innings. 

Nick Sergakis blasted two home runs for the Richmond RiverRats. Sergakis went 3-4 in the game with two RBIs and three runs scored. Sergakis homered in the fifth and eighth innings. 

The Chillicothe Paints didn't let up, as they kept racking up runs until the end. The Chillicothe Paints scored eight runs in the final three innings to cap the blowout win. The Chillicothe Paints scored six runs in the seventh on the Chillicothe Paints scored in the seventh on a solo home run by J Diffenderfer, a solo home run by Gregory Rhude, an RBI double by Jacob Britt, , a sacrifice fly by Zach Jacobs, and an RBI double by J Diffenderfer.

Keegan Akin got the win, running his season record to 2-0. He allowed two runs over five innings. Akin struck out two, walked two and gave up two hits.

Adam Manner (0-2) was the game's losing pitcher. He lasted just three innings, walked three, struck out one, and allowed five runs.

The Chillicothe Paints hammered the Richmond RiverRats pitching as eight hitters had a field day, combining for 22 hits, 19 RBIs and 18 runs scored.
