Cody Campbell and Derek Trovillion sent back-to-back home runs sailing over the fence in left field, and the RiverRats created a little bit of separation between themselves and Butler at the top of the East Division. Nolan Earley also provided one of three home runs for the RiverRats in their 5-3 victory over the Blue Sox at McBride Stadium. The win put Richmond at 10-4 for the second half — and two games ahead of Butler (9-7) in the East Division race. “It’s nice to get a win. That one was tight, a little closer than it should have been, but it’s good for the guys to bounce back,” said Richmond manager Tyler Lairson. “Butler is right behind us, so it’s nice to come home and win in front of a good crowd.” http://www.pal-item.com/article/20120721/SPORTS/307210016/RiverRat-bats-turn-back-Blue-Sox
