BECKLEY, W.VA. — Things keep getting in the way of the RiverRats' hot streak.

The ’Rats suffered another rainout on Saturday, giving them an extended all-star break.

Richmond started the second half 6-1 before the three-day break.

Friday’s game never started and was rescheduled for a doubleheader on Saturday that failed to be completed.

West Virginia held a 4-0 lead with the RiverRats batting in the fifth inning. The game was suspended and will be picked up the next time the ’Rats visit West Virginia Aug. 4-5.

The original game scheduled that night follows, while two seven-inning games will be played Aug. 5.

The RiverRats are still 6-1 in the second half and are 21-16 overall.
