7TH BOYS plays in Benton Central Tournament

By Mike Feagans of Rensselaer Central High School/Middle School7TH GRADE BOYS’ BASKETBALL FROM BENTON CENTRAL TOURNAMENT
ON Saturday, the 7th grade boys’ basketball team travelled to Benton Central for a tournament and came out with a 3rd place finish. In the first game, the Bombers were defeated by Carroll with a score of 42-24. Leading the Bombers in scoring were Jaylen Gilbert with 8, Jt Feagans with 7, Justin Whitfield with 5.
In the second game, the Bombers came away with a 34-25 victory. Bombers were led in scoring by Jaylen Gilbert with 12, Jt Feagans with 11, and Ben Berenda with 4. The Bombers record is now 11-7 and play at West Central tonight.
