Bombers Defeat Rival KV 38-28

The Rensselaer Central Bombers boys 8^th grade basketball black team captured perhaps their biggest win of the season with a 38-28 victory over rival KV on Thursday night. The Bombers equaled their win total from last year in moving their season record to 9-7. Landon Balch led the Bombers scoring with 16, Ben Hillan had a season high 10, Bryce Nesius and Luke Branson each scored 5, and Jonathan Hickman added 2. Grant Myers didn’t score for the Bombers but led his team from the point guard position and dished out several assists. The Bombers are off until after Christmas break.

In the red game, the Bombers fell to 3-3 on the season in losing to KV 38-26. Trenton McAdow led the Bombers with 8 points, Kobe Austin scored 7, Garrett Pinkerman added 3 and Evan Brandenburg, Bryce Kingman, Mark Marzke and Cody Goodman each had 2 points.
