Bomber JV and Varsity earn tough wins at SJC

By kevin sims of Rensselaer Central High School/Middle SchoolThe Boys JV and Varsity teams both earned tough victories over West Central Saturday evening at Alumni Fieldhouse on the Campus of St. Joseph's College.
The JV started the evening with a 37-28 win to move their record to (2-1) on the young season. Zach Devault led the young Bombers in scoring with 12 pts. and Kole Risner followed with 8. For the night 8 Bombers made it into the scoring column with balanced scoring.
The Varsity followed suit with a 40-30 win improving their record to (1-2) after a tough loss on Friday night to county rival KV. The Varsity was led in scoring by Braden Mattocks with 9 and in rebounding by
by Soph. Joey Claussen with 11.
The Bombers are back in action this weekend at Joe Burvan Gymnasium with a Friday night matchup against N. White and a Saturday Hoosier Conference game against Tipton.
