Bomber Girl's Soccer 4th at Conference

The Bombers Girl's soccer team traveled to Twin Lakes on Saturday Sept 22 to play in the 2nd round of the Hoosier Conference Tournament.  In their 1st game the Bombers took on the Twin Lakes Indians.  Defensive breakdowns put the Bombers in the hole early. Twin Lakes had a 2-0 lead at the half.  In the 2nd half, the Indians scored quickly as the Bombers still were having defense problems.  The lone goal for the Bombers was made by Alex Clemente.  Twin Lakes won this match 3-1.

The Bombers 2nd match was against the Central Catholic Knights. The Bombers started off short handed in this match as players Allison Graves and Leah Coley were out with minor injuries.  The Bombers were unable to produce any offense losing to the Knights 2-0.

__________________________________________________________________________ On Monday Sept 24 the Bombers took on the Wheeler Bearcats at home.  Wheeler came in with a 12-2 record, one of the best in the area.  The Bombers played tenatively in the first half allowing 3 goals.  Wheeler came out and scored 2 more goals in the 2nd half to win 5-0.  The Bombers last home match and Senior day will be Saturday September 29 with a 9AM start against the Central Catholic Knights.
