RCHS Boys Soccer ties Covenant Christian

Rensselaer's Troy Phillips scored three goals in a back and forth game of scoring with visiting Covenant Christian.  The score ended up in a tie at 5-5, moving the Bombers season record to 1-1-1.  Phillips also collected two assist on the evening.  The Bombers' goalie Simmeon Gastineau recorded 12 saves in the game.  Anjel Clemente scored the other goal for Rensselaer.  After Covenant Christian defeated Rensselaer 5-0 last season, Coach Chip Gull said they are making some headway with the current Bomber players on the team this season.  The Bombers' goalie Simmeon Gastineau recorded 12 saves in the game.
