MIKE TILLMAN SIGNS WITH SINCLAIR CC

SINCLAIR SIGNS RICHMOND’s MIKE TILLMAN
DAYTON, OH – Sinclair Community College head men’s basketball coach Jeff Price announced the signing of Richmond guard Mike Tillman to a national letter of intent.
Tillman led Richmond to an impressive 22 – 3 record his senior season, winning the North Central Conference and a sectional championship before losing to eventual state champion Indianapolis Tech at the Southport regional.
Michael was named team captain and earned the team MVP award after leading Richmond in scoring at 14.8 points per game and shooting 45.9% from three-point range. In addition, he was named the Palladium-Item’s All-Area player of the year. He was also named to the NCC first-team and honorable mention all-state in 4A.
During Michael’s two years at the varsity level, Richmond won 137 games and lost only 11 with a conference championship and a sweet 16 appearance in the state tournament.
Sinclair finished the season 21 – 9 and in third place in the Ohio Community College Athletic Conference. They spent 11 weeks ranked in the top 20 of the NJCAA Division II national polls and reached as high as fourth in the country for three consecutive weeks.
