2010: MARION 28 RICHMOND 20
Richmond ked 14-0 at halftime before the Giants scored 28 unanswered points. Chandler Miller played for the first time catching eight passes for 137 yards and 2 TD’s. Miller had TD’s of 28 and 30 yards.
Giants RB Devante Mayo had a big night, 169 yards and 3 TD’s (1, 58, 35). Marion finished with 404 yards on the ground and 456 yards to total offense. RHS QB Stevie Jarrett went 18 of 29 for 215 yards and 3 scores. Richmond managed only 71 rushing yards.
2011: RICHMOND 43 MARION 40
This was the change at QB for Richmond. Chandler Miller went back to WR and Justyn Curtis took over at QB. Curtis went 12-18, 232 yards and 3 TD’s. Miller caught eight passes for 175 yards and 2 TD’s. Miller also had an 85 yard KOR for a score.
Marion led 16-0 after one quarter until the Red Devils scored for the first time in the second quarter. Richmond trailed 24-21 at the half.
Richmond sealed the win after Nathan Flannery caught a 7 yard TD pass with only 53 seconds remaining.
RHS finished with 333 yards of total offense, the Giants ended with 467 yards of TO.
2012: RICHMOND 28 MARION 12
Jimmy Bailey had an interception return of 105 yards for a score and Nathan Flannery intercepted a pass ending the Giants chances late in the game. Richmond led 21-0 at the end of the first quarter.
Justyn Curtis went 9-13 for 158 yards and 2 TD’s.
