FOUR ALABAMA PLAYERS DISMISSED FROM TEAM

Four freshmen from Alabama have been dismissed from the program after their arrests from a pair of recent robberies.

Defensive lineman D.J. Pettway, linebacker Tyler Hayes, cornerback Eddie Williams and redshirt freshman H-back Brent Calloway all have been dismissed accoring to Coach Nick Saban.

Pettway, Hayes and Williams are facing second-degree robbery charges, while Williams and Calloway are charged with fraudulent use of a credit card. The robbery charges were filed following an assault of two students, one of which had his backpack stolen that contained a laptop computer, earlier this month. The other had his wallet taken.
