GAME STORYLINES » The Boilermakers will look to complete a season sweep of Iowa and get within a game of .500 in the nation's best conference when they square off with the Hawkeyes in Iowa City on Wednesday.

» Purdue has won the last three meetings - and nine of the last 10 - with Iowa, and captured a 65-62 overtime win at Mackey Arena on Jan. 27.

» The Boilers are coming off of a 74-43 win over Northwestern on Sunday in which they shot 52.3 percent as a team and outrebounded the Wildcats by a 48-23 margin.

» Junior guard Terone Johnsonscored a game-high 22 points against NU on the strength of a career-high four three-point field goals; in Purdue's first meeting with Iowa this season, Johnson netted 17 points and grabbed a career-high 12 rebounds.

» Johnson is in the midst of the best three-point shooting stretch of his career, knocking down 9-of-16 (56.3 percent) from beyond the arc in the Boilermakers' last four games; he is shooting a career-best 36.0 percent from long range on the season.

» The Boilers enter the week ranked atop the Big Ten with an average of 5.2 blocks per game in Big Ten play; freshman A.J. Hammonsleads the Big Ten with an average of 2.6 blocks per game in conference action, piling up 36 in 14 games.

» The Boilermakers head into the week as the top-ranked rebounding team in the Big Ten in conference action, grabbing an average of 37.9 per game; Purdue's average of 13.2 offensive boards per game in league play ranks second in the B1G.

» Hammons ranks in the top four among B1G freshmen in points, total rebounds, offensive rebounds defensive rebounds and blocks per game (both overall and conference); he is the only active freshman in the power six conferences averaging at least 10 points, six rebounds and two blocks per game.

» With Hammons as the focal point, the Boilers have scored 880 of their 1,752 points (50.2 percent) this season in the paint; Purdue is averaging 32.6 points per game in the paint and outscoring opponents by an average of 6.1 points per game on the block.

» Playmaking brothers Ronnie and Terone Johnsonaccount for 34.4 percent of Purdue's scoring and 47.1 percent of the team's assists on the season; they combine to average 24.5 points and 6.4 assists per game in Big Ten play.

» Ronnie Johnsonhas been stellar with the ball in his hands in Big Ten play, ranking fourth in the league in assists per game (4.1) and sixth in assist-to-turnover ratio (1.7) in B1G games; he is also averaging 10.6 points per game in league.

» The rookie quartet of Hammons, Johnson, Rapheal Davis and Donnie Hale are combining to average 29.7 points per game this season, which translates into 45.8 percent of the Boilermakers' scoring on the year.
