AN EARLY LOOK AT KOKOMO

The Red Devils will be playing for a share of the NCC championship Friday night on the road at Kokomo. The Wildkats coaching staff got a good look at the Red Devils Saturday when Richmond played Dayton Marshall. Here’s a quick look at what Richmond will be up against:
Coach Brain McCauley: 109-49 (7th season)
Kokomo is 17-2 overall, 6-0 in the NCC. Their two losses came at Carmel (54-46) and Tipton (57-56 ot).
Kokomo has won five straight.
The Wildkats are averaging 59.9ppg and giving up only 45.1ppg
Last year Richmond beat Kokomo 67-63 in OT

vs Logansport: LaBradford Sebree had 15 points and five boards to lead the Kats. Persons finished with 13 points, Burnett had 12 points and five boards and Erik Bowen added 10 points and a game-high eight boards. Kylee Beheler chipped in four points and six rebounds. The bigger Wildkats outrebounded the Berries 29-18 for the game including 12-5 on the offensive glass.
Coach Brian McCauley on the win over Berries: “The guys came out and beat a solid, aggressive, determined Logansport team,” Kokomo coach Brian McCauley said. “Obviously they played well and made it a battle, and we knew it was going to be that.”
