EC BASKETBALL LOSES TWO AT HANOVER

Women's Basketball 
HANOVER, Ind. — The Earlham College women's basketball team fell 72-53 at Hanover
College on Saturday. 

Kiara Scott led the Quakers with a career-high 13 points in the Heartland Collegiate
Athletic Conference contest. 

JaLissa Watt scored 10 points, while Karmell Brown finished with eight points. 

Kasin Spay tossed in seven points. Raven Bryant-Williams added six points and five
rebounds. 

Emily Sells led Earlham with six assists as she pulled down five rebounds. 

Hanover (11-4, 5-3) began the game with an 11-0 start and led 45-22 by intermission. 

Earlham (2-13, 1-7) visits Defiance College on Wednesday. The HCAC game begins at
7:30 p.m. 



Men's Basketball HANOVER, Ind. — The Earlham College men's basketball team played at Hanover College on Saturday as the Quakers fell 86-51. Dustin Rusk led the Quakers with 11 points in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference affair. Jack O'Flaherty tossed in eight points with five rebounds, while Kirk Douglas added eight points off the bench. Kristian Barden led the Quakers with eight rebounds. Hanover (9-6, 6-2) got off to a 12-5 advantage by the 16:38 mark of the opening half. O'Flaherty got the Quakers closer with a 3-pointer at 16:11. The Panthers followed with a 13-1 run to go on top 25-9 with 13:06 left. Earlham rallied to close the gap to 40-27 by intermission. In the second half, Hanover started with the first six points before Rusk drilled a 3-pointer to make it 46-30 with 16:46 remaining. The Panthers were able to maintain their distance the rest of the way. The Quakers (2-13, 1-7) are at home on Wednesday as they entertain Defiance College. The HCAC contest on Schuckman Court in the Athletics and Wellness Center gets underway at 7:30 p.m.
