GAME STORYLINES
» Following a pair of losses to ranked opponents, Purdue will look to get back to its winning ways on Sunday when it welcomes Penn State to Mackey Arena for a noon ET tip.

» The Boilermakers opened Big Ten play with a stretch of three games in seven days, all against ranked opponents; Purdue defeated No. 11/14 Illinois before falling to 18th-ranked Michigan State and No. 15/14 Ohio State.

» Purdue is 105-19 (.847) overall and 48-15 (.762) in Big Ten play at Mackey Arena under head coach Matt Painter; the Boilers have won seven of the last eight meetings with Penn State overall and each of the last six in West Lafayette.

» Junior Terone Johnson ranks fifth in scoring in Big Ten games with an average of 18.0 points per game; he leads a trio of Boilers scoring in double figures in Big Ten action, as senior D.J. Byrd and freshman A.J. Hammonsboth check in at 11.7 per contest.
