A WEEK OF EXCELLENT GAMES IN INDIANA

The boys high school basketball season is half over and this week there will be several huge match-ups in all four classes.  Here’s a look at the marquee games:

4A

# 4 Carmel has two very tough games against Indianapolis Cathedral (6-3) and 4A #6 Kokomo (11-0). Carmel is led by Michael Volovic (16.7)

#6 Kokomo has the match-up against #4 Carmel and a NCC game against New Castle (7-3).

Kokomo is led in scoring by Tayler Persons (17.7) and Labradford Sebree (15.5).   New Castle is led by Steve Bennett (18.3)

#8 Ben Davis will play #10 North Central (7-3) in the Marion County tournament. North Central is led by freshman Eron Gordon (20.6)

#13 Jeffersonville (9-2) will host 2A #4 Providence (10-0).

#15 Columbia City (12-1) @ Homestead (10-3).

3A

#1 Greensburg (11-0) @ Batesville (8-1)

#5 Mt. Vernon Posey (10-0) @ #11 Vincennes Lincoln (9-2)

#7 Plymouth (9-1) @ Concord (8-0).  Plymouth is led by Mac Mercer (22.7)

#11 Vincinnes Lincoln will also play 2A #16 Sullivan (9-3)

#12 Norwell (6-2) @ Ft. Wayne Wayne (7-2)

2A

#3 Tipton (10-1) vs Sheridan (7-1)

#6 Clarksville (7-3) vs Corydon Central (7-2)

#8 Ft. Wayne Luers (4-3) @ Ft. Wayne Northrup (11-2)

#11 Perry Central (8-1) vs #14 Southridge (7-1)

#12 Bowman Academy (2-7) vs Horizon Christian (13-3)

#15 Crawford County (9-1) vs 1A #10 Orleans (8-3) and @ Corydon Central (7-2)
