The Big Ten announced the women's basketball Players of the Week

Co-Players of the Week

Aulani Sinclair, Indiana

6-1, Sr., F, Eminence, Ind./Eminence

·         Poured in 34 points on 52 percent shooting (12-of-23), including a 7-of-13
clip from 3-point range in Indiana's victory over SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday

·         Added five rebounds, three blocks and two assists to help the Hoosiers to
their seventh win of the season, surpassing their wins total from a season ago

·         Tied or set career bests in points, field goals, 3-pointers and blocks,
and notched the first 30-point game of her career

·         Wins her first Big Ten Player of the Week award

·         Last Indiana Player of the Week: Jori Davis (Jan. 3, 2011)



Jacki Gulczynski, Wisconsin

6-1, So., F, Carol Stream, Ill./Bartlett

·         Posted double-doubles in wins over Florida Atlantic and Eastern Illinois
last week, averaging 20 points on 55.6 percent shooting, 12 rebounds and three
assists per game

·         Scored 16 points with 11 rebounds, three assists and a block in 38 minutes
against Florida Atlantic in overtime on Monday

·         In 36 minutes on Saturday against Eastern Illinois, notched game highs
with 24 points and 13 rebounds, adding three assists and two blocks

·         Wins her first Big Ten Player of the Week award

·         Last Wisconsin Player of the Week: Jolene Anderson (Feb. 25, 2008)



Freshman of the Week

Nicole Bell, Indiana

5-4, G, Cincinnati, Ohio/Indian Hill

·         Scored 11 points, with all three of her field goals coming from behind the
3-point line, to help Indiana to a win over SIU-Edwardsville on Sunday

·         Recorded a career-high five assists against just one turnover in 24 minutes

·         Wins her first Big Ten Freshman of the Week honor.
