November 27, 2012
Richmond High School

INDIANAPOLIS - IUPUI used a 19-0 run late in the first half to break things open en
route to an 87-54 win against the Indiana University East men's basketball team on
Nov. 26 in The Jungle.

IUPUI, an NCAA Division I program, improved to 3-4. The game was an exhibition for
the NAIA Division II No. 22 Red Wolves.

"It doesn't count, but there is still a standard of play we want to hold ourselves
to, and this was not it," said IU East coach Mark Hester. "We are capable of playing
better than this."

IU East shot .311 from the field, which would have been the lowest percentage in
school history for a regular season game.

Senior guard Marcus Isaac led IU East with 15 points, but no other Red Wolf scored
in double figures.

P.J. Hubert scored 22 points for IUPUI, which had four players in double figures.

IUPUI's decisive run in the first half expanded the Jaguars' lead from 20-16 to
39-16. The Red Wolves trailed by double figures the rest of the way.

The Red Wolves play at NAIA Division II No. 4 Indiana Wesleyan University on Dec. 4.
