Player of the Week

Andre Hollins, Minnesota

G - 6-1 - So. - Memphis, Tenn. - White Station



*         Led Minnesota in scoring at the Battle 4 Atlantis, averaging 20.3 points
over three games, including two contests against nationally ranked opponents

*         Scored a career-high 41 points to lead the Gophers to an 84-75 win over
No. 19/17 Memphis, becoming the fourth Minnesota player to score 40 points in a game
and the first since 1971

*         Went 20-for-22 from the free-throw line in three games, sinking three with
0.4 seconds left on the clock to secure a win over Stanford

*         Scored 12 points, dished out four assists and grabbed three rebounds
against No. 5/5 Duke

*         Earns his first career weekly accolade

Freshman of the Week

Nik Stauskas, Michigan

G - 6-6 - Mississauga, Ontario - St. Marks



*         Averaged 12.5 points and 4.5 rebounds to help No. 4/4 Michigan win its
first NIT Season Tip-Off title

*         Shot 50 percent from the floor, including 42.9 percent from long range,
and was a perfect 8-for-8 at the free-throw line over two games

*         Tied his career high with 15 points against Pittsburgh, adding five
boards, a block and a steal

*         Scored 10 points with four boards and an assist against Kansas State

*         Earns his first career weekly honor
