QUICK HITS • Miami re-enters Mid-American Conference play with a 2-0 record in league games, sharing first-place in the East Division with Kent State (3-0) and Ohio (2-0). • The RedHawks have won seven games in a row at Bowling Green, last losing at Doyt Perry Stadium 15 years ago in 1997. In 33 all-time games at BG, Miami has a record of 20-9-4 for a winning percentage of .742. • Miami quarterback Zac Dysert joined the exclusive 10,000-yard club, becoming just the 78th player in NCAA FBS history to pass for at least 10,000 yards. He currently has 10,246 career passing yards. A 17th career 300-yard-plus passing effort could move Dysert past TCU's Andy Dalton (10,314), Baylor's Robert Griffin III and Boston College's Doug Flutie (10,579). • For the fifth consecutive game, RedHawk linebacker Chris Wade recorded at least 11 tackles. His season total of 63 stops is tied for fifth-best among MAC players. • Fans can attend Miami's Family Weekend game against archrival Ohio (Oct. 27) at a bargain price. The Family Foursome package includes four tickets to the game, four free Miami baseball hats, four hot dogs and four drink vouchers for only $44. In its previous 64 seasons in the MAC, the RedHawks have posted a 3-0 start on 23 occasions. Of those 23 seasons, Miami has won the league title 14 times, finished second eight times and placed third once. • Over the last five seasons, Miami has a record of 9-12 in Mid-American Conference road games. The RedHawks nine MAC road victories have come by margins of 1, 3, 5, 6, 7, 7, 7, 7 and 12 points. Seven of those 12 losses were by 10 points or less. • Twelve true freshmen have seen playing time for Miami in 2012, a total that's tied for ninth, nationally.
