Former Devil eagerly awaits his next step

With part of his basketball future seated to his left, Tanner Todd had one more moment with his basketball past Tuesday afternoon at Tiernan Center.

The Richmond graduate officially signed with Indiana Tech during a ceremony in front of coaches, teammates and family.

“It should be a great experience for me,” Todd said of joining the Fort Wayne-based program.

Indiana Tech assistant coach John Peckinpaugh was at the ceremony. Peckinpaugh played for IPFW and graduated from Muncie Central, which, like Richmond, is a member of the North Central Conference.

“I think Tanner is going to do a great job for us. We’re really excited about him,” Peckinpaugh said. “He’s got a big upside and he’s going to bring us some outside shooting that we need.”
