Todd taking potential to Indiana Tech

Tanner Todd’s best basketball is still to come.

That, said Richmond coach Joe Luce, is one reason Indiana Tech got a strong find in the former Red Devil.

Todd will continue his basketball career at the NAIA Division II school in Fort Wayne. He averaged 9.2 points per game as a senior, third best for a Richmond squad that finished 21-4 and advanced to the Class 4A sectional final at New Castle for a second straight year.

One term Luce used to describe the 6-foot-4 Todd was “upside.”

“I think the thing they recognized was his potential,” Luce said of Todd. “They really liked his size and the way he shoots the basketball.
