Football stars to help hall

Several area football standouts will get another chance to don helmets and pads to represent their high school teams on the gridiron.

Friday’s East-West Football Classic kicks off at 7 p.m. at Anderson High School. The 12th annual event is a fundraiser for the Indiana Football Hall of Fame, which is located in Richmond. 

“There are lot of board members who do a bang-up job organizing this and putting it together,” said hall of fame president Gerry Keesling.
