* Hit .545, reached base at a .615 clip and slugged 1.364 to combine for a
1.979 OPS, leading Penn State to a series sweep against Illinois and into a tie for
second in the conference standings
* Belted two home runs and recorded three doubles in the series, including a
solo shot in the sixth inning of Game 1, which proved to be the game winner
* Moved into first place in the Penn State records book with 459 career
total bases, is 10 base knocks shy of tying the school record for hits, and is two
shy of Penn State's career mark in doubles
* Earns his second award of the season and of his career

through ninth frames

* Smacked a two-run homer in the fourth inning of the series opener, which
proved to be the game-winner, before hitting a solo shot in the sixth inning on
Saturday to break a 7-7 tie
* Scored four runs and drove in four in the series, also stealing a base,
while extending his hitting streak to 11 games
* Earns his second Freshman of the Week honor
