Bio of Head Coach Eric Bell

Boys Basketball Team


 

Eric Bell is originally from New Orleans, Louisiana, he attended Southern University at New Orleans where he received a scholarship for playing Basketball. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health & Physical Education also coached for two years at Alfred Lawless High School before moving to Atlanta, Georgia in the summer of 1999.  So far during his tenure in Atlanta he coached at North Atlanta High School, Alonzo Crim High School, & Banneker High School all as an Assistant Coach.  Some of his accomplishments are reaching the final four, elite eight, sweet sixteen, and winning two region championships. He have coached 5 all state players so far, and all his seniors have graduated.


Blessed with an opportunity to coach Basketball he cherishes every minute & every experience that comes with it. He is a coach that believes in family values and old-fashion hard work.  Here at Redan High School he is looking forward to building one of the top basketball programs in the state of Georgia.
