As the final scores trickled onto the leaderboard at the Johnsburg Regional, Blake Betke, Jen Wojcik and R-B teammates were busy counting on their fingers, eliminating teams one-by-one from standing in their way from reaching the goal the Rockets set in place before the year began. By the end, R-B had crossed off everyone with the exception of regional champion Genoa-Kingston, which finished 18 strokes ahead of the Rockets and the rest of the field at Boone Creek. But for the Rockets, the runner-up finish triggered an emotional group hug celebrating the fact the Rockets, who finished with a team score of 395, were moving on. "We really want to make it to state and so we're really going to put our hearts into it," Wojcik said. "There's always work to be done, but we'll definitely enjoy this for the day and then work hard."
