Home » Girls' Soccer NewsChanges affect area schoolsJune 14, 2012 Richmond Burton High SchoolChanges affect area schoolsRichmond-Burton, which will return nine starters from its Class 1A state third-place girls soccer team, received some good news Wednesday when the IHSA posted classification cutoffs for the 2012-13 school year. R-B, with an enrollment of 767, will remain in Class 1A for girls soccer, slipping under the cutoff by 19 students. The Rockets also will slip into Class 1A for cross country, which also cuts off at 786. The Rockets were 23-3-2 this season, led by freshman Amanda Hoglund, who scored an area-best 49 goals. Being one of the largest schools in Class 1A should serve as an advantage over being one of the smallest competing in Class 2A.
