Home » General News6 Caseys Sign Letter of IntentFebruary 7, 2013 By Vincent Landolfi of Red Bank Catholic High SchoolSix seniors, from four different sports, signed letters of intent yesterday, and will be continuing their athletic careers at the next level of sports competition. Shore Conference Defensive Player of the Year Josh Klecko donned a scarlet baseball cap with block letter "R", as he signed to play defensive line for the Scarlet Knights of Rutgers. Richie Curran, a 2nd Team-All Shore, two-way lineman, and Caseys captain will be suiting up for the Hawks of St. Anselm College in Manchester, N.H. Anthony Yaccarine, of the Caseys 2011 Shore Conference Championship baseball team will be roaming the outfield for the Spartans of St. Thomas Aquinas, just over the New York State border. Two members of the girls soccer team, one of the best in N.J. over the past four years, received Division I scholarships to two outstanding college programs. Forward, MacKenzie Cowley will be attacking the competition for the Georges of G.W.U. in D.C., while Marina Davi helps shore up the defense for the U. of Tampa Spartans. And as for one of the most prolific, sought after athletes in the state, and in RBC's storied Track & Field history, Rob Napolitano, it's the Ivy League! The Lions of Columbia University are roaring with excitement to have Rob speed his way around the track for them against such foes as Princeton, Harvard, and Yale.
