Home » Middle School Football NewsCardinals set to kickoff the seasonSeptember 5, 2012 By Kennedy Johnson of Raytown South High SchoolIt's finally here, the Cardinals kickoff the 2012 season on the road against the Center Yellowjackets. The Roster is set with 44 players who are ready to start hitting someone else, other than themselves. Center Middle School is a good programs with great athletes at their skill positions. They have a new coach this year. In 2008 they went 6-0. The Cardinals last undefeated team was 2007 when both A & B squads went a combined 12-0 that year. The players played well last week in the Red/White game that was dominated by the Red squad 26-0. The defense appears to be solid and will have to be to stop a strong running attack from Center. The Cardinals also have a strong running attack with a good passing game to compliment their running game. Kickoff is at 4:00 pm @ Center High School with the A-game being played first. The B-team will get started around 5:15 pm. We look forward to seeing you there. It's a great day to be a Cardinal.
