ACT Workshop Summer 2012

Purpose: Students will

• Become familiar with the test and its procedures
• Learn & practice testing strategies
• Learn to avoid ACT traps & pitfalls

Who should take it:  Any student who signs up for the June 9^th ACT test, including

• Students who have already taken the test earlier in the school year
• Students who just took ACT Prep in the spring
  • They may need a refresher for some sub-tests
  • Students who scored well on the Pre-ACT last fall or the April 14^thtest but still want to or can improve
    • This includes students who previously scored 24-29

Another reason to take the class:  Due to the incredible lack of snow days, the June test will take place almost three weeks after school ends—this is a way to practice being awake and alert before the test.

Additional Information:

• This course is only one week long.
• This is a non-credit course.
• Students are responsible for their own transportation.
