(Crookston, Minn.)- University of Minnesota, Crookston Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Oseth has announced the signing of Joseph Moorer to a National Letter of Intent. Moorer is a 6-1, 175 lb., guard from Houston, Texas.

Moorer attended Queen City Prep School in Charlotte, N.C. He averaged 18.6 points and 6.1 assists per game while Queen City Prep rolled to a 42-7 record.
“Joe comes very highly recommended from the coaching staff at Queen City Prep,” says Golden Eagle Head Men's Basketball Coach Jeff Oseth. “He has played with and against some outstanding competition this past season. Joe was the type of guard we were looking for. He can play the point and also step over to the off- guard position as well. Joe has good upper body strength and shoots the ball very, very well. We are extremely excited to have Joe join our program and we feel he will be able to help us right away.”

Moorer plans to major in software engineering at the University of Minnesota, Crookston. He is the son of Joseph and Nona Moorer.
