January 21, 2013
By Paul Bravo of Park Vista Community High School

Congratulations on a great effort this weekend to all members of the Cobra Wrestling Team.  After falling to sixth in the team standings, the team rallied and finished a strong third place in the 25 team tournament edging out Jupiter High School 158 to 156.50!  Senior Nick Barrett was named the 2013 Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Palm Beach County Championships, first in the 145 weight class. This is the first time in the history of the program that a Cobra wrestler has garnered this honor.  Stevie Textor, Aaron Santosus, Carlton Armstrong and John Puleo took third place, followed by fourth place finishes by Ryan Textor and Jack Williams.

The Cobras host The 7th Annual Iron Cobra Inviational Duals this weekend, and face a tough day of wrestling with perennial powers such and Coral Springs High School, Fort Pierce Central High School, Port St. Lucie High School and Seminole Ridge High School. Come join the Cobra faithful as we cheer on the team in the final regular season competition of the year!
