Varsity Wrestlers Capture their 8th Straight Conference Championship

The Varsity Cobras continued their domination of the Central County Conference, running the table on their way to their eighth straight conference championship.  After throttling Lake Worth High School, the Cobras followed with a 56-18 victory over Santaluces High School, a 76-3 mashing of John I. Leonard High School, and a 84-0 dismantling of Forest Hill High School. Nine wrestlers were conference champions, and another three posted second place finishes.  

The Cobras face stiff competition this weekend at the Palm Beach County Championships, but feel confident that their hard work will pay off.  With only a month left in the Varsity wrestling season, the team hopes to build upon the momentum they have accrued to date and sned a record number of wrestlers to the State Meet in Lakeland.
