Home » Wrestling NewsVarsity Wrestlers Place 4th at the Wetzel ClassicDecember 31, 2012 By Paul Bravo of Park Vista Community High SchoolThe Varsity Cobra Wrestlers journeyed to Horsham, PA, with a chip on their shoulder and something to prove, heading to the self proclaimed "Hotbed of High School Wrestling" to show what wrestlers from the Sunshine State could do. In two short days, the Cobras demonstrated that Florida wrestling was not the inferior product that the Keystoners seemed to think it was, placing 4th in the 12th Annual Wetzel Classic. The Cobras placed eight wrestlers in the top eight, incuding 2 firsts, 1 second, 1 fifth, 1 sixth and 3 eighth place finishers. The Cobras resume their 2012-2013 campaign again on January 12th, as they defend their conference tile for the 7th year in a row.
