By Ronald Crawford of Pulaski Academy

The Bruins will start the 2012 Season short handed on Tuesday night with Seniot Guard Dusty Hannah's out for an undetermined time after a hard fall on his way in for a Dunk, the 6' 3" Hannah's hit the floor hard and preliminary tests indicate his right wrist injury may keep him out of action for some time, Dusty will have an MRI on tuesday to determine the severity of the injury, he also suffered a pelvis and sacrum injury but the Doctor feels he can return in 7-10 days, it's that "Hot Right Wrist" that may see the Bruins without him for an extended period of time. Hannah's was off to a fantastic start, his 43 points, without a 3 point basket against 5A 2011 State finalist, Sylvan Hills has been the outstanding performance of the young season. The Bruins will also miss 6' 6" Junior Hunter Henry who was ejected during the victory over Bebee that placed the Bruins at 7-0, Henry had 31 points in the Bruins victory over Star City on Wednesday and has shown high major college Basketball talent even though the Football Bruins have had very few practices, Texas Tech Head Coach Billie Gillispie was very clear, Henry is more than welcome to play both Sports at Texas Tech. The Bruins have quality depth with Senior's Jeremy Brady and Jack Snyder along with Junior Tyler Colquitt really stepping up in the absence of Hannah's and Henry. The Bruins play Baresville on Tuesday night.
