South came in the game Tuesday night against Ladue (20-4) with a record of 9-13 and left with a win!!!  Ladue entered the game with the highest ranking of any team on the Missouri side of the river in the Post-Dispatch rankings.  The Patriots started hot in the first quarter and led 19-16, however the second quarter Ladue outscored South 15-10 and took a 31-29 lead into halftime.  The Rams opened up a double digit lead (13) in the third quarter but South kept fighting back.  Down 52-42 with 5:35 to play Matt Highsmith made one of two free throws and the come back was on!  South was able to take the lead with 3:25 to go when Senior Courtland Rogers made a lay up.  They outscored Ladue 27-10 in the final quarter and went on to win 66-60 behind 15 points from Chris Dandridge, 14 from Jeremy Verges, 13 from Luke Bakula and 12 from Rogers.  South shot 40% (22-55) from the field and just 59% (16-27) from the free throw line.  The Patriots improved to 10-13 on the season and have won a season high three games in a row!
