South's offense was triggered by their defense. The Patriots had 16 steals in the first half and finished with 22 on the night. Lone Senior Courtland Rogers had 6 of those steals and also dished out 6 assists. The Patriots managed to garner a 45-14 halftime lead to allow them to cruise to their 9th win off the season. Jeremy Verges put together his best one half performance of the season, coming off the bench he scored all 16 of his points in the first half. Matt Highsmith continues his impressive run through the Suburban West with 17 points on 8-11 shooting, leading all scorers on the night. Next up for the Patriots will be the Ladue Rams on Tuesday at home at 6:00.
