Lancers scorch Patriots

By psouth hoops of Parkway South BasketballTuesday night South traveled to Lafayette for a showdown with the rival Lancers and it was all Lafayette. The Lancers led 8-4 after one quarter and 18-13 at the half. It continued in the second half as the Lancers led 34-20 after three quarters. The final was 48-25. Jeremey Verges led the Patriots in scoring with 10 points. South fell to 7-13 overall and 4-2 in conference play.
