January 24, 2012
By psouth hoops of Parkway South Basketball

The second Suburban West Conference game of the year for the Patriots went pretty much the same as the first.   South took a 16-3 first quarter lead and managed to stretch it to a 21 point margin by halftime.  The Patriots would go onto win 56-22.  This would tie a previously held school record for lowest points allowed in a game set in the 1999-2000 season.  The Patriots also shot 91% from the foulline on the evening.  Mark Waller was 7-7 from the line and led all scoreres with 17 points and 7 rebounds.  Charlie Bakula added 11, Matt Highsmith had 6, and Chris Dandridge had 5 points.  Next up for the Patriots is the Desoto Dragons who are 15-3 and currently ranked 4th amongst small schools in the area and also ranked in the Top 10 in the state of Missouri for class 4 schools.  The Patriots are the #4 seed in the Ameritime Tournament and Desoto is the #5 seed.
