The Vikings had an offensive explosion where everyone in the lineup got at least one hit. The Vikings scored 12 runs the most of any game this year. Defensively the Vikings were led by Pitcher Esiquio Lara who pitched a complete game to earn the first win in the history of Mercy Street Field. The Vikings followed up the first game with another good performance offensively scoring 7 runs. unfortunately the Bulldogs were able to overcome the Vikings momentum and win by a score of 9-7. The Vikings start their run at the playoffs this Monday when they face the Seagoville Dragons at 12:00 at Mercy Street Field. Come out and support your mighty vikings.
