Pinecrest's Bobbie McDaniel was selected for the All-Southeastern Conference softball team, and teammates Lindsay Parkin, Lizzie Smith and Kaylin Phipps received honorable mention recognition.

McDaniel, a freshman, was a starting pitcher pitcher for the Patriots and led the team in overall batting average. Parkin, a junior first baseman, received all-conference honors for the third time. She has also been picked to participate in the North Carolina State games to be held in Winston-Salem on June 20-23.

Smith was the team's only senior and a four-year varsity player. The outfielder received conference honors for the second time. Phipps, a freshman outfielder, led the team in batting average in conference games.

First-year coach Lynsey Manki's squad finished the season with a record of 4-14. Scotland County won both conference regular season and tournament titles. Scot shortstop Whitney Britt was the Conference Player of the Year.
