Pinecrest defeated South View 41-26 in the 2nd round of the state 4-A dual team wrestling playoffs last night at James Moore Gym.
In the first round earlier in the evening the Patriots defeated Cape Fear 72-12 to advance to the second round.
South View had beaten Holly Springs 38-33 in a first-round dual.
Pinecrest will be back in action on Thursday night vs New Bern, site is yet to be determined.
