The bears really never could get any sustained threat going as they were defeated by Robert Morris, of Illinois, in the opening round of match play 4-0, before being eliminated by Kansas. The Bears qualified as the 14th seed as they bowled 32 baker games on Thursday. Though the season ended and the Bears did not go as far as they would have liked. The season still was a success as the bears won 3 events during the year in cluding a Tier 1 (2010 Las Vegas Invitational), and finished 4th at the Allentown, PA sectional in March to qualify for the ITC. Not to bad considering that there are over 250 schools across the US that have bowling programs, to be in the final 16 teams is an honor. Team members were Seniors, James Cheff-Austintown, Ohio; Jesse Hawkins-Southaven, Mississippi; Jeremy King-Pikeville, Kentucky; Seth Wagner-Fremont, Ohio; Juniors, Rick Lane-Cincinnati, Ohio; Fidel Marchena-Dominican Republic; Sophomore, Mark Allen, of Mason, Ohio; Freshman Jeff Blind-Webster, New York.
