Craig Scott Wins the Otis Taylor Award

December 9, 2012
Park Hill South High School

When you are a football junkie like me, the season is never over.   And when you have a player on your team like Craig Scott, the offseason accolades will continue to pour in.   Craig Scott, took home the Otis Taylor Award which is the highest honor for a wide reciever in the Kansas City Metropolitan area.

This award is very special because not only do you have to be good on the Missouri side, you must also have jaw dropping numbers that compare to the Kansas side.   Craig did just that by breaking ALL wide receiver records that park Hill South had.  Craig also was named to the All State team as well.

I was looking at one of those football message boards the other day and Craig was the topic of discussion.   There was a post suggesting that Craig's numbers had to be inflated since they were so amazing.   I could only smile knowing that not only were the numbers correct, I got a chance to witness such greatness.   Thank you Craig Scott for the memories.  We wish you great success at the next level!
