Carson Reid is Our Week 2 Football Player of the Week

We are two games into this young season and the Panthers have a problem that most schools would love to have; two young men that worked hard all summer to become the starting QB.   Carson was not chosen to be the number 1, however, Carson played like the number 1 on Friday night against Blue Springs.  

Reid entered the game and immediately through a quick slant to WR Craig Scott for an 85 yard TD.  Next, Reid threw a 21 yard TD to WR Nick Griffin.   Reid finished the game with a QB rating of 149.3.  

Reid has handled the QB "situation" like an "all pro".   Most NFL'ers couldn't handle the pressure that both of these young men are under daily to play "mistake" free.  Everything they do is scrutinized by fans and both are handling this situation like they are much older than their teenage years. 

However, this week, Carson Reid showed his critics that he can be the starter too!   Congratuations Carson Reid for being named the South Football Player of Week 2.
