Kenric Cook is our Week 1 Player of the Week

August 28, 2012
Park Hill South High School

Senior Kenric Cook never gave up in the one sided loss.  Kenric finished the game with 20 tackles.   The game was shown in the Kansas City Area via Time Warner Cable's Metro Sports Channel.  Commentator Danan Hughes, formally of the Kansas City Chiefs, was very impressed with Cook's performance.  "This kid is making plays,"  Hughes commented as Cook made two consecutive sacks.  Cook almost had a 3rd sack if it wasn't for a "pro like" shovel pass from Fort O's quarterback Stephen McBee.  When asked about his performance, Cook replied, " I thought I did okay, but I still have a lot to work on."  If Kenric Cook continues to work hard, he will be one of the top performers this season.  Congratulations Kenric Cook for being named the Park Hill South Football Player of the Week!
