Tim Keith's seventh-inning grand slam won the first game and Albert Reynoso's seventh-inning double clinched the second as league-leading Phoenix stunned second-place Henley 8-7 and 9-8 Saturday at Hagler-James Field. The wild comebacks - Phoenix trailed 7-1 through five innings in the opener and 7-1 through three innings in Game 2 - gave the Pirates (10-7, 7-1 Skyline) a three-game lead over the Hornets (6-8, 4-4) in the conference standings with seven league games to play. In Game 1, Keith came to the plate with the bases loaded and one out and capped the dramatic rally by crushing Chadd Peterson's 3-1 offering over the wall in right-center. Peterson had just relieved Josh Overstreet, who allowed two hits, walked a batter and hit a batter in the seventh before being pulled. In the second game, Reynoso came to the plate with the game tied, one out, and the winning run at second base. He crushed Jared Alves' 1-0 pitch to left-center - the Pirates' fifth extra-base hit of the day. Kyle Treadway pitched the last three innings to pick up the win in Game 1 and also had a big day at the plate with an RBI double in the opener and a grand slam and five RBIs in the second game. Also for Phoenix, Kameron Kaufman was 2-for-3 with a home run in the opener and was issued four walks in Game 2, and Joey Keith and Christian Adams added three hits apiece. For Henley, Kevin Gordon had six hits overall, including a 4-for-5 effort in Game 2, Brandon Montgomery was 3-for-4 with two RBIs in Game 1 and Andrew McDaniels was a combined 5-for-8 with four RBIs.
