Phoenix (8-7, 5-1 Skyline) grabbed a 4-0 lead in the second with the help of an RBI single by Joey Keith and Andrew Reynoso's two-run single.

After the Mustangs' cut their deficit to 4-2 in the bottom of the second, the Pirates added three more in the fourth. Treadway's RBI single and a two-run single by Tim Keith highlighted the rally.

Justin Bohn added two hits for the Pirates along with Joey Keith and Andrew Reynoso.
