Jordan Faciane a Clayton County Legend

It wasn’t how Jordan Faciane wanted to end his high school basketball career at Morrow, but the senior point guard says he has no regrets.

The Mustangs lost in the first round of the Region 4-AAAA tournament last month, ending his career without a playoff appearance.

I’m a little disappointed, but I thought we had a good season considering how young we were,” Faciane said. “I think we left the program in good shape.”

Before the Campbell signee can look to the future, he will play one more high school basketball game when he suits up for the North squad in the Clayton County All-Star Basketball game tonight at Mount Zion High.

He will be joined by teammate Jamahl Parker in the game, which pits the North squad (composed of players from Drew, Forest Park, Morrow, North Clayton and Riverdale) against a South squad of players from Jonesboro, Lovejoy, Mount Zion and Mundy’s Mill.

There will also be a girls game, a 3-point contest and a slam dunk contest during the all-stars festivities.

I’m looking forward to play with some of the guys I’ve played against this season,” said Faciane, who will compete in the 3-point contest.
