Rocket netters win three tiebreakers to defeat Hornets

Person High SchoolWinning five of six singles matches, the Person boys' tennis team recorded its second consecutive victory - a 7-2 triumph over the Hillside Hornets in a PAC-6 contest Tuesday at the Person courts.
The Rockets, now 2-5 overall, got singles wins from No. 1 seeded Simon Guenther (6-1, 6-0) and third-seeded Andreas Munoz, who fought back with a 6-1 (10-6) second-set win after losing the first set 6-1. No. 4 Andrew Parker scored a 6-4, 3-6 (10-3) win in his match and fifth-seeded Chad Campbell bested his opponent by a 6-4, 7-6 (9-7) margin.
The Rockets had a Thursday home match against Chapel Hill postponed and aren't scheduled to see action again until April 2 when they host East Chapel Hill.
